 Tucker is a young, Dachshund Mix who is homeless because his previous human, sadly passed away.
He’s about a cute as a pup can be! He loves to cuddle and play.

Pumpkin is an adult, female, Beagle/Dachshund Mix.
She is playful and loving and gets along with other  dogs.

 Our Pets of the Week for 9/5 could be considered brothers, Damian and Drew.
Damian is an American Staffordshire Terrier. He is the brown one, and he’s two-years-old. He is also a hero because he let Lexington Humane Society draw blood in order to save another dog’s life.
The black dog is Drew, and he is a Lab/American Staffordshire mix. He’s six-years-old, and he and Damian are the best of friends.
These dogs had the same previous owner, and they must be adopted together.

Thursday, August 7th's "Pet of The Week" was Marcus.
Marcus is a 5 year old purebred cocker spaniel.
He was brought in as a stray and needs to be the only child in the home.

Thella from the Lexington Humane Society is looking for a loving family that has the energy to throw a ball, go for walks, or even stay inside and cuddle on a rainy day.
The LHS wanted to give her a break from the shelter, so she went out to our prison program where prisoners train some of our dogs. She’s out there learning tricks so she can come back and get a great home!
