PHOTOJOURNALIST: WTVQ-TV (ABC), Lexington, Ky has an immediate opening for a news photojournalist. Two years of experience in news photography, live van operation and non-linear editing skills are preferred. Candidates must be creative visual storytellers, willing to work flexible hours including weekends and be a team player. A valid driver’s license and clean driving history is a must. OPERATIONS ENGINEER: WTVQ-TV has an immediate opening for a part time/full time Operations Engineer to work in our Master Control area. Duties include on-air switching, news and commercial videotape operations, and transmitter control operations. Experience preferred but not required. ANCHOR/REPORTER, WEEKDAY: WTVQ-TV (ABC), Lexington, Kentucky is looking for an energetic, dynamic lead anchor/reporter. The selected candidate must have strong on-air presence, writing skills, and the ability to connect with viewers from the anchor desk and in community involvement settings. Additionally, outstanding copy editing skills, an energetic delivery and excellent ad-lib abilities during breaking news coverage are all essential. This newsroom leader must understand the importance of enterprise reporting, developing sources and research. Minimum requirements include four years experience as an anchor and reporter as well as grasping the team approach.EOE M/F/D/V.
