Otis Hensley, the folksy underdog who ran for governor atop a fiberglass bull, is accused of unlawful transaction with a minor.
The Harlan County Sheriff's Office arrested Hensley Monday. In addition to the unlawful transaction charge, he is also accused of an illegal sexual act with a person under the age of 16. Other details have not been released.
Hensley ran in the Democratic primaries for governor in 2003 and 2007. At one point, he rode a fiberglass bull through Frankfort, saying he would "clean up the bull" in state government.
